i was presented with a result similar to no destination found. could this string of commands be possibly outdated? when i get home, i'll update this discussion with direct quotes rather than paraphrases for accuracy.
I could reconnect the monitor, keyboard, and mouse, and re-enable the gui if need be, but i'd rather stick with the VNC for now if possible.
thanks, and i really appreciate this article. very comprehensive.
as for my suggestion, i suggest the addition of a little blurb about enabling updates on ubuntu, as i found my build of Gutsy Gibbon to have none of the update references activated by default thus rendering "sudo apt-get install openssh-server tightvncserver" to be impossible for me to execute.
